The aim is support activities which benefit Alliance tenants, residents and their communities, such as assisting tenants to address challenges associated with welfare benefit reform and fuel poverty, which also potentially makes a positive contribution to their health and well being.

Ballingry Community Playpark

The playpark at Ballingry is more than swings and roundabouts. It has been constructed after consultation with local people and funded by a range of funders.

The community came up with lots of ideas, including adventure play equipment for the children and young at heart as well as quiet seating areas for those who just want to enjoy the view and the bio-diversity planting.

Alliance Continued Professional Development (CPD) Programme

Fife Housing Association Alliance has devised an inhouse CPD programme for staff to increase their knowledge of services and projects which support sustainable tenancies and, in turn, benefit the tenants.

One event involved a best practice visit to Furniture Plus, the Fife based social enterprise which provides quality, affordable furniture and household items to people in Fife, particularly those most in need.
